Being Smart about Your Avatar in Online Poker

Choosing an avatar while playing online poker should represent you. Whether it be a picture of your family or a poker card, it should be how you feel you want other people to view you or it can be the default avatar the poker site has too.

Most poker sites allow the option to choose your own avatar in the settings. The choices are limitless in what you can put in there as your poker avatar. However, caution recommended, no obscene or violent content not wanted normally by most poker sites.

First thing to do is to make sure you have saved the picture on your computer or sometimes they allow a url to post your picture. Most poker sites only allow you to upload your picture from the computer. You could even save several pictures to have different options to choose from if you wished.

The next thing to do is even more simple than the first, uploading your picture. After you have saved, your favorite picture you want others to see while you play poker online is to upload the picture to the poker site. They may require a certain limit on size of picture, but that can be adjusted if that is the case. In addition, you now have your avatar for your online poker experience.
